Sitcoms, Movies and Everyday TV Channels
The Prime Time bundle. 16 channels, built from your own library.
Prime Time is the bundle for the stuff you actually watch on a Tuesday.
The retro bundles are hunting a specific era. This one is not. Sixteen channels sort a normal library the way a cable package used to: SITCOMS and LOL for the comedy block, FLICKS and BLOCKBUSTER for movie night, DRAMA TV for the hour long shows, ROM COMS for when two people have to agree on something, FEEL GOOD TV for when nobody wants to think.
Then the ones that do a specific job. DOCS and HISTORY & BIO are the channels you land on at eleven at night and are still watching at one. REALITY TV is there without apology. CRINGE TV is the comedy you watch through your fingers: The Office, Curb, Nathan for You. MAN CAVE is the loud end of the shelf. R RATED COMEDY is the stuff you would not have put on with your parents in the room. RECORD STORE is music films and concert docs. FRESH leans on what you added recently, and PREMIERES points at the newest thing in your library, which is the closest Nostalgex gets to saying "new tonight".
What makes it the practical pick: it is the bundle most likely to fill a guide on day one. Every channel is assembled from your own Plex or Jellyfin server, so what you get depends entirely on what you own. The app reads the library, groups titles into channels, builds a real schedule and starts playing mid show, as if it had been on all afternoon. A library with four hundred movies and no TV at all still gets a working lineup here. The retro bundles would mostly come up empty.
That is the whole trick, really. You already own plenty. What you are missing is the thing that decides for you. A guide with fifteen channels on it does that, because flipping past a channel is a decision and scrolling a grid of six hundred posters is not.
Point it at an Apple TV on tvOS 18 or later, leave this bundle on, turn the others on when you want them. Free, open source under the MIT license, no account anywhere.

Prime Time FAQ
Do I need my own movies and shows?
Yes. Prime Time channels are built from the Plex or Jellyfin library you already have. Nostalgex schedules what you own and plays it back.
Why is a channel missing from my guide?
Each channel waits until your library has enough matching titles to fill a day. A thin DOCS shelf means no DOCS channel yet. Add a few and it appears on the next guide build.
Is this the bundle to start with?
If your library is mostly modern, yes. Prime Time sorts a general library better than the retro bundles do, because it is not looking for a particular decade.
Does it work with Jellyfin?
Yes. Plex and Jellyfin both work, and signing in to Jellyfin uses Quick Connect so you never type a password with the remote.
Does it cost anything?
No. The app is free and open source under the MIT license.
