Sports Movie and Documentary Channels
The Overtime bundle. 3 channels, built from your own library.
Overtime is the smallest bundle in the app, and it is honest about why: most people own a handful of sports films, not a hundred.
Three channels. LOCKERROOM is the movies, the underdog season and the training montage and the last second shot. OVERTIME TV is the series and the shows. SPORTS DOCS is the documentary shelf, which for a lot of libraries is the deepest of the three now, because the last ten years of sports docs have been very good and very easy to collect.
What it is not is live sport. There are no games in here, no scores, no schedule from a league. Nostalgex plays what is on your own Plex or Jellyfin server and nothing else, so this bundle is the sports section of your shelf, running as a channel instead of a folder.
That turns out to be the right shape for this kind of thing. A sports doc is the perfect thing to have on while you cook, half watch, come back to. You do not need to be there for the start. A channel that is already running fits that better than a menu does, because the menu makes you pick and then makes you commit to the beginning.
It is also a good test of the whole idea with a small library. Three channels is not a lot, so if you turn this bundle on and get two channels and they both run all evening without repeating, that is the app working the way it should. If your sports shelf is five movies deep, you will probably see one channel or none, and that is deliberate. An empty channel in the guide is worse than a channel that is not there.
Turn it on next to a bigger bundle rather than on its own, unless your library is mostly sports. Free, open source under the MIT license, Apple TV on tvOS 18 or later, Plex or Jellyfin.

Overtime FAQ
Does this show live games?
No. There is no live sport in Nostalgex. These three channels play the sports movies, shows and documentaries already sitting in your Plex or Jellyfin library.
Do I need my own files?
Yes. Nostalgex supplies the channels and the schedule. The titles are yours.
Why do I only see one of the three channels?
Each channel waits for enough matching titles to fill a day. Most libraries have plenty of sports movies and very few sports shows, so LOCKERROOM often turns on first.
What goes on SPORTS DOCS?
The documentaries and docuseries about teams, athletes and seasons. It is the channel to leave on when you want something on in the background that you do not have to follow closely.
Does it cost anything?
No. The app is free and open source under the MIT license.
